My wife loved to play this on permanent rotation for weeks. And I found it ever more disturbing how towards the end this guy (who imo looks a lot like Charlie Runkle, Hank Moodys friend in Californication) shouted the words "sound of silence" at the top of his lungs with the most extrem wall of sound behind him, when they crank it up to 11... let's say, I'm glad she moved on.
In all honesty, I didn't really like it, and much preferred the original. The Disturbed vocals sound forceful instead of calmer and passive, as in the original. It also completely lacks the feeling that two voices provided.
All that said, everyone has different taste. I don't mind Disturbed, I just like Simon and Garfunkel better.

I like the original better as well but this is a very worthy cover.
Get the chills every time....

Am I the only one who would love to hear him on broadway??
