I've never done anything too terrible that I would land in jail for but even I'm still like "Shit, they're coming I'm going to spend the rest of my life in prison. I don't even know what I did but I'm a felon and I deserve to be arrested. Oh no wait they passed me."
Im the kind that goes "ooo, this should be entertaining." Especially in our current society where people purposely provoke cops just because the worst cops possible are the only ones who ever get in the news.

maybe if you're feeling paranoid it's cause you're doing something you shouldn't be doing but that's none of my business ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No it's not. It's extremely common for people who have never even jaywalked to feel fear at the sight of cops, because they know cops will make shit up to fill their monthly quota of tickets given.
Which is funny because it's akin to me being paranoid at the sight of every man just because I was raped. It happens sure, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not exactly likely.
My close family friend who is a cop finds it amusing that people wear seatbelts and stay within the speed limit etc because they don't want to get fined not because they don't want to die in an accident
I mean, technically the speed limits were introduced originally to combat the gas crisis. Safety isn't something you can guarantee anymore at 35 as 200. Though I must say NASCAR has excellent safety standards.
Have you watched them? Back in the day bumping/crashing people was commonplace. Now they do it as personal revenge. It's hilarious when drivers get mad at each other. I'm just sad my favorite retired to be an announcer.
If my car gets a broken part and becomes unsafe, I don't throw the whole lot away. I fix it. This person doesn't want the removal of all cops, just a reform of the parts of the system that need it.
The thing is it's not just what we're doing but it's what we see , were supposed to feel protected but in the media I see innocent people being shot and with police now I just feel tentative towards them cause they hold my life in my hands, cause it's with their judgment my life changes or not
Oh my god, that's the fucking point.
When a cop is around, you suddenly take better care to drive at the speed limit and focus on not making any driving mistakes because you don't want to get a ticket.
I mean shit, is it that hard to figure out?
You can say that again. I mean in regards you feeling paranoid instead of protected and that's because 90% of the cops are looking for something to pull somebody over for so they can fill their quota by the end of the month and that is just plain and simply wrong one of the comments below said that the person feels this way because they're probably doing something wrong that's totally wrong and I think you and I know best that 99.9% of the cops change the minute they put on that uniform and put that gun on their side all of a sudden they become RoboCop
What is wrong with you people
