Fam, you literally cannot know unless you design your own world and test it out. If black people where in power like white Europeans were, it does not mean they would or would not abuse that power. So unless you want to go back 1,000s of years and rearrange it then you have no idea what would've happened.

So the european white people went through what, technical evolution, faster than the africans and that made them colonialists, because they could? Hmm... what about the immanent idea of a superior race, or better, disavowing the africans the status as "proper" human beings at all? What about the fact that there was (and is!) so fucking much of abstract and tangible value to steal and carry over here or to produce there? Talking value, what exactly would the african people have stolen in europe? What valuable crops would they have planted here in our super favorable climate, that doesn't grow so well in africa? Beetroot? Rye? Flax?

First of all you assumed that any society would take advantage, cause they could, while I'm pretty, pretty sure that would take a lot more than just the ability, it would take certain circumstances (climate, vegetation) and a certain attitude.

Then they would be white, first of all. The skin color is an adaption to circumstance, not the cause for anything. I am actually NOT blaming white people for anything because of their skin color, but because of what they did (and do).

Uhm, pretty much all white people took advantage of colonialism, and still do. Its what made our societies so extremely rich and powerful, even still today. Our today's wealth and welfare comes from what our ancestors stole from their ancestors. I agree, the color doesn't matter, it could have been magenta colored people stealing from green people, whatever. This being said, it just happened to be light skinned people stealing from dark skinned people, and you cannot make this fact go away by making wild assumptions. Accept your heritage and look, if something can be done today, or accept the consequences of denial and ignorance, ie. looking bad.

You're aware that blacks took slaves too, right?
Also, slavery in the US ended over a century ago. Why should I have to shoulder any blame when I had nothing to do with it?

The wealth of your society derives from what your ancestors did. The state "they" are in is a direct consequence of what our folks did to them.

I don't believe in the 'Sins of the Father' mentality.
The way I see it, it only devides people for centuries after the original sin was committed to begin with.
I won't take responsibility for what I played no part in, and I won't sit down while the great-grandchildren of the victims take from me and mine as compense for what they never went through.

I'm white and male, and I find myself pretty agreeable. Majority of my friends are white males, and they're great guys. Few things we have in common are a sense of responsibility, respect and acceptance. We don't hate women, non-whites or non-heterosexuals, at least not for being what they are. So what's not to like about us? Maybe it's different if you can't read too well, are an idiot racist and/or misogynic. Fuck would I know?
