Unfortunately, I don't live at home, and am halfway across the country. But thanks!

my birthday falls on Mother's Day this year and I told her her gift was me and she was all like, "where can I return you?"
but I'm taking her to dinner too.
Cook her her favorite meal and spend the day with her. Offer to rub her back or feet. Watch a movie with her of her choosing even if you hate the movie she picked. Make a home made card with crayons and draw the pictures your self like when you were little. Go pick wild flowers and give them to her with a paper towel wrapped around them like a little kid. Buy her favorite snack or bake with her. Being a mom isn't about the big moments it is being there for the little ones.Mother's Day is to thank her for those little moments so the best gift is the little ones money can't buy.
The best gift is seeing your kids as productive members of society. Tell your mom how you are doing, if you're doing well in school, work, etc. and thank her for all she's done (helping you in life). I didn't really appreciate my parents until I had kids, but some people don't have kids before their parents die. They made a lot of sacrifices for you an should be appreciated and loved :).
Also, I'm broke now.
