So my grandfather LOVED his bacon but he loved it even more with maple syrup. (It is so fing good by the way.) He would dip his bacon in the maple syrup and coat it in it as well.
NOW WHY DO I MENTION THIS?
Just as much as my grandfather loved his bacon in maple syrup. My uncle LOVED his bacon dipped in apple sauce. His favorite thing to snack on was a jar of apple sauce to dip a huge plate of bacon in as if they were chips in salsa. (Which is probably one of the reasons he died at the age of 57.)
My grandfather and uncle would bicker back and forth how they were eating bacon right while the other was wrong.
It got so bad one day where my grandfather went to my grandmother and demanded to know which mail man was my uncle's real daddy. Lol
So maybe this guy is like my uncle. An apple sauce bacon dipping mailman son. Lmao
You have no right to come I here and judge me on my apple sauce consumption rate. Go back to your 'normal' diet, I don't need this type of negativity in my life.
We have this thing in my town called Pig Fest. 2 days long and the most amazing bacon creations you'll ever see. My favorite is still chocolate covered bacon.
