I'm saying that most of the popular ones are.
Personally I love Taylor Swift's music and she seems like such a sweet person. A LOT of her songs are about her relationships, but not all of them. Regardless, I like all of them.
Her music is definitely catchy and I will listen and jam out to it every once in a while.
But it would be nice to hear a song about something other than a boyfriend every now and then. I don't see how she hasn't just gotten tired of writing about the same thing over and over again.
Maybe this is just my own preference but the meaning and lyrics of the song plays a big part in my taste in music. Personally I think her music and her image is becoming more cookie-cutter popstar. I feel like her songwriting when she was a country musician was much more thoughtful and more emotion put into it. And I just don't see or feel that with her newer music.

You left out hatred towards Katy. Boyfriends and hatred towards Katy is what made her last album. Anyway her music is catchy but as to what concerns the contents of her song, I think it's trash just like Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2. (Hope you got the reference)
Rappers almost only sing about titties and sex and strippers.
Also not all rapper's songs are about women. Not even most.
