Fair enough. To be honest, even though hufflepuff is my least favorite of the houses i actually like them too, and their founder was the one i respect the most because he was the only effing one that thought they should offer education to everyone no matter what
*tips hat* That's us. I just get really offended when people talk about Hufflepuffs like we're the ones that nobody wanted, like we don't have value and don't contribute to the HP universe.
I think it's mostly because of how badly they were represented in the books (not badly as in they were bad characters, but as in there were hardly any). When you think about the main characters, those that were present and a big part of at least five books, almost none of them are hufflepuff. And who even is mentioned to be in hufflepuff during the same time as harry? All i can think about is poor Cedric (who only appeared in GoF) and Hannah Abbot that was quite consistent in the series but only had like five lines throughout the saga

@wiggleworm29 HELLO BROTHER *hugs and shares all the snacks*
@badasslatina I FEEL THAT ALL THE TIME. LITERALLY ALL THE TIME. WE ARE SO UNDERREPRESENTED THAT WE GET BRUSHED ASIDE BECAUSE EVERY HOUSE BUT OURS HAS LOTS OF MAJOR CHARACTERS. LITERALLY JUST TONKS, CEDRIC, AND HANNAH ARE THE ONLY MEMORABLE HUFFLEPUFFS AND IT MAKES ME SO SAD TBH. WE'RE SUCH AN AWESOME HOUSE BUT NO ONE SEES IT.
Hey man I get house pride, nothing against hufflepuff, but there's nothing wrong with the other houses either. You say don't house-stereotype but then you dismiss gryffindors as people who don't care about rules are are totally okay with losses, gryffindors in fact may have many other traits than their bravery (take hermione for example, she's totally a Ravenclaw) but your house is dependent on the traits you VALUE most, not the traits that you necessarily have.
Please stop assuming gryffindors are just knuckleheads who don't give a shit about consequences because just as hufflepuff is not the potato house, gryffindor is not the stupid house

Nothin' against Gryffindors. I think Gryffindors are great. And not every Gryffindor is like that, I recognize that. But Hermione fits ruthless pretty well. I mean, she kept Rita Skeeter in a jar for how long? She let Umbridge be dragged off by the centaurs to be gang-raped. Hermione is a badass motherfucker I wouldn't want to mess with. But then you have Gryffindors like Fred and George, who were brilliant when they chose to apply themselves. And Neville, who excelled in his own areas and was just waiting for his moment to step up and show his courage. Every member of every house is different, but they belong in that house for a reason.
Proud Slytherin here, but seriously, thank you for posting this. Yes I'm tired of being told I'm from the "evil" house, but seriously Hufflepuff needs more love. Shout out to all you wonderful wonderful badgers :)
Can someone recommend me a personality quiz that will tell me which house im in? I only found bad ones with questions like "What is your favourite color green red blue or yellow? "
