TBH I still keep all of my limbs safely under the covers and I always close my closet door

I never understood why the head is still safe when it's uncovered. Is the boogeyman just uninterested in heads?

I never got the "ears under the covers" thing. I always felt that if I keep my eyes closed and I can't see them I'll be fine. Sometimes I feel like there is something in my room, but as long as I keep my eyes closed I'm fine. I'm scared as sh*t, but I won't be attacked.

TBH, my closet door is partially open, and in the night, i can see it and it's darkness is ever present, the shadows i see in the corner of my eye, that disappear when i look cause me no concern, so i close my eyes and go back to sleep, as i know if i'm woken from my slumber, what wakes is far worse than what is there
