Why was this movie ever a thing

i actually thought it was a fairly good movie.

I was talking with some friends the other day and we were talking about bees dying out for some reason and one of my friends goes "the bee movie is a highly fantastic movie" and I just looked at her like "you're joking right"

-I'll sting you, you step on me.
-That just kills you twice.
-Right.
