Same. Graduation was a week ago and we were told that we wouldn't be getting our diplomas if you threw your hat

They told us that too, so we waited until we were all behind the curtain, said a glorious "screw you!" And threw them anyway. We all got our diplomas

At my high school when they handed you the folder it didn't contain the diploma, we had to go get them after the ceremony.
