As a woman the image never bothered me. He's some ultimate power to be defeated, so this is showing the struggle. If a fight doesn't show some difficulty, the eventual win is empty and unsatisfying.

No context? Is this cunt fucking dense? The context is that Mystique is a hero, Apocalypse is a villain, and this is an X-Men movie. By design, the hero and villain fight each other in a comic book film. My 60 year old grease monkey father who has never read a comic in his life could pick up on that.
