A pedophile is someone who preys on children to do sexual things with them. So how is a teacher seating kids who like each other like pedophilia at all? Hmm.
SIT DOWN KIDS AND LET ME TELL YOU A STORY
My neighbor and friend was in a class with a guy I knew last year. They started to date last year. It's super cute in my opinion. I learned earlier this year from my teacher (who taught them the year before) that she could see the attraction between the two and ended up seating them together often. She says it's the one and only time she actually did it, and bada bing bada boom they're together. They had no idea about this. Naturally I told my friend's mom and she laughed about it.
On a side note, this teacher was my brother's advisor when he went through this school.
As a teacher, I can confirm this. I ship kids in my classes. I also sometimes accidentally on purpose group kids with others I can tell they are fond of.
That's fucking creepy and disgusting what the fuck. No teacher would ever admit that shit what kind of shithole school does this person go to-- Oh it's a story on tumblr, so there's no way this is real. I swear these tumblrs are such chronic liars that it's actually a problem. If they were smarter than a bad of used condoms, these tumblrs would maybe become good politicians.
I don't see what is creepy or disgusting about it. As a teacher, you can see who likes who, who is friends with who, etc. Seating kids based on peer relationships is something that every teacher does. It's not like we are forcing kids to get married. We are considering their emotional happiness while in our classrooms. My goodness. People are so sensitive sometimes.
It can be true. One time my favorite teacher placed me next to a really annoying guy I hated for an entire semester, and when I asked her why she'd betrayed me, she said she thought it would be entertaining to watch.
No this teacher is saying that he/she plays cupid while assigning the seats of his/her students. It's a little unprofessional to seat someone based on anything other that helping them learn, but it's not a big deal... but I think it's creepy to tell them you seat them hoping to create romantic relationships. It's not a YA novel, it's a classroom.
When you have to recite the same lessons to the same kids over and over again, I think it might be fun to place kids strategically, just to see what'll happen, whether it's romantic or not.
