Why don't you have the experience? It's not our fault you didn't know someone that would hire you to allow you to gain experience in preparation for applying for this job. I mean really, you should get your act together.
Aren't you supposed to go through work experience anyway in secondary/high school?

Nah, that's not necessarily true. I can't say for everywhere but at least in the U.S., Florida, and the public high school I went to, all the education is generic. There is very limited classes geared towards an actual career or industry. Instead that's what the school system makes college out to be, as the time to decide what you want to do or where you want to work. It's not very effective, or useful for that matter, but I don't see it changing anytime soon.
