I liked Ultron because James Spader's voice is sexy and fun to listen to

Age of Ultron was a good popcorn flick. I'm actually amazed Marvel has yet to pump out anything truly terrible. Even Iron Man 2 was just okay. DC is off to a rough start with Dawn of Justice, but I can see things potentially getting better.

I'll elaborate. Marvel Studios is Marvel's in-house movie making studio. They make all the Avengers tie-in films and now the Spider-Man movies starting with Homecoming next year. When people say "Marvel", that's what they usually mean when talking about movies. The movie rights to Deadpool, X-Men, and Fantastic Four are all owned by Fox, so while they're technically Marvel movies, Marvel has no creative control over them. Sony still owns the film rights to Spider-Man, but they've made this deal with Marvel to have Marvel Studios make movies with him to get audiences back on board with the character. The reason people compare DC's current films with the Marvel Studios movies exclusively is because those are the two that are creating a shared universe. So yeah, Marvel Studios hasn't made a truly terrible film yet. Fox, on the other hand...
