Yeah, but you'd expect that would make people think "hey, lets not stick our touches on an ice cold flagpole" instead of the exact opposite.

Exactly. They see it and instead of thinking "oh hey, that's a bad idea", they think "oh it doesn't really happen", or " I wonder if that's really true". And that's what's so stupid. People should know what will happen, the moovie tells them, and they do it anyway, or as I've heard in some cases, even because of it. Pure, unfiltered idiocy.

I did it at home on the freezer but I had warm water ready. I mean if you think about it even a cube of ice will stick to your young

Yeah. I've had ice stick to wet fingers. Dry and cold does not mix well with wet.
