Look here fruitcup. English linguists have said that the claim of the Oxford comma being used to "remove confusion" is bullshit, it can cause confusing all on its own too.
The comma is punctuation, not a goddamned crutch to prop up bad grammar. How about you get better at composing a sentence rather than hiding bad syntax behind shitty punctuation?
Odd, back in grade school (public,) I learned to use punctuation. Which included the proper use of a comma, especially when stringing together multiple items in a sentence. Also, when I was in school I watched the former Chief Justice for South Carolina rip a lawyer a new one for the improper use of a comma, as it changed the meaning of the sentence.
