Often that old lady reversing on the shoulder that missed her exit.

Or the person texting that causes an eight car pile up.

Then you believe wrong. Most traffic jams are just caused vehicle density.

Or many people not paying attention.
Like when the person in front of you at lights is looking at their phone, they mean less people get through that light cycle. Which snowballs as people get bored and pay less attention
