No thoughts of Australia? Though there is the wildlife to be concerned about, and our elections too. Politics seems to have devolved into party leaders wearing high-vis jackets and telling blatant lies about the other major party.

Plus Australia has one of the strongest economies on the planet, so much so that during the GFC they didnt experience any recession
I worked out GDP per capita based on 2015's GDP and it worked out to about $60k
Really? Did you really just do that? Fine, yes, guns can be dangerous if mishandled, but they are an excellent hobby, and can be great fun. Guns can bring a family together. Going to the shooting range with my dad and my grandpa is some of the best fun I've ever had, and will have. Now, there is some stuff that you need to learn, but the best safety is between your ears. Always treat a gun as if it were loaded, never put your finger on the trigger until you're ready to shoot, never point a gun at somebody unless you're willing to shoot them, and remember, always check your gun. When you pick it up, pull the slide back and check if there is a round in the chamber, when you put it down, check it, when you hand it to somebody check it, and when you recieve a gun, check it, and if you hand someone a gun and they don't check it, smack 'em. And remember, a gun is always loaded, even when it's not. You would be surprised how many people don't even know these basic safety precautions.
The fact of the matter is that the Second Amendment is not for the protection of sportsmen, or hunters, it is for the formation of a well-organized militia, as has been upheld by the Supreme Court. The Second Amendment is for the protection of the State, which is not the same thing as the government. The Second Amendment was given to us by our forefathers as a safeguard, in case of such time as the government of these United States should become tyrranical and unjust.
Today at school, there was a gun threat. I sit next to a student. Guess who was threatening to shoot everybody? You guessed it. Said student almost was able to bring a gun to school, from their parents' house. Thank logic he didn't. Because if he did, there would not be anything I could have done. And I will not bring a gun to school to defend myself.
"Almost was able to", what does that mean? I almost was able to marry a bisexual nymphomaniac.

Why was @chakun down voted for posting safety rules that @geluregis lamented that too few people knew.
pretty sure your forefathers didn't think of including high fire rate weapons. they had like one bullet a min back then. Really think of the context. it's 2016 - ya'll need to stop.
Guest, my forefathers actually did think of advanced weapons when they were writing the Constitution. That well-organized militia? Members are supposed to provide their own weapons, of a type that is seen in common use at the time. Do you want to know what the most common, and popular, gun in america is? The motherfuckin AR-15! AR might stand for Armalite Rifle, but it should stand for American's Rifle! It isn't about sportsmen, or hunters, it's about us, the people, being able to take down a tyrranical government if need be.
What I mean is that he was stopped before he could get the gun. He told me and a few others what he was going to do. Had he not, we might have been dead.
