SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!
I thought what she did in the last episode was a very smart move on her part. She had one weapon and she used it to kill everyone who dared stand against her. That's classic Cersei for you. She is a vile woman. The only thing I didn't like was how she reacted to her son's death, I mean the only thing that sort of humanized her was the love for her children but now I think she doesn't even care about that. I loved loved loved the last 2 episodes though!
Who cares about her, what about Stark ?!?! THE GIRL IS READY !!!

The only GoT knowledge I have is from the TellTale Games series. I know nothing of her character development in the show, but god I hated her in that series.
Mayflower10196, you've got to watch it from the beginning. I too was a non-believer, I thought "what a stupid show, what's the big deal?" One Saturday, the wife and I had nothing to do and she asked to watch it from the beginning. I complied, reluctantly of course, and two episodes in was hooked. You can binge watch the entire thing in less than a week. If you're busy like we are, it may take three weeks, but totally worth it.
