July is now America month. African Americans have February, Mexicans have May, Jesus has December, Canada has more in common with January. January is now Canada month.
In Quebec (a province of Canada), we don't really celebrate the 1st of July. Sure the shops are closed and things like that, but we don't have any other celebration. However, we do celebrate June 24th (fireworks, bonfires, etc.) which is St Jean Batiste Day, also considered Quebec's National Holiday. I believe this is a consequence of the sovereignty movement a couple decades ago, where Quebec wanted to become an independent country.
just wanted to make sure
