Most cars I have seen don't have handles that come completely out or disconnect.

Itd work even better if you tied it to the wheel via the hubcap. On the passenger side. That way the asshole wouldnt notice till he/she started driving.

We used to mess with co-workers' trucks and put large zip ties around the driveshaft so that it ticked against the floor with every revolution.
