Why are middle school girls skipping the awkward stage

I'm skipping the eye shadow but I'm doing the braces/glasses/acne thing for my high school years

I have braces a large, black glasses, and I'm shy and studious and obsessed with anime. Because of this, I have made it my life goal to be the Ultimate Nerd.

Well I'm not doing eyeshadow but I am doing tiny hats personally I don't think it's awkward but whatever, I do have braces though

Still in highschool. Dont worry. Haven't skipped that stage..
