Motivation is where you find it

I collected them until I ran out of Pokeballs. Now I can't be bothered to walk the 1/4 from my house to the nearest Pokestop to get more so I just quit.

I live in the middle of buttfuck nowhere so when I have a Pokemon on my radar, I'm hella committed to catch it. Which explains why I was cramming myself behind a shelf in my garage last night. It was only a fucking Ratata.
