The difference between marvel and D.C. is when they make a trailer marvel will identify the reason for the film.
Avengers - we gotta stop Loki
Batman vs superman- who cares...doomsday!
Civil war - we gotta put heroes in check
Justice league - Batman has a bad feeling about something!
Why spoil the entire plot of the movie in the trailer? It makes the film predictable and less fun. I agree that Marvel does a better job with films but the trailer should have no impact in that conclusion

The trailer can make or break a film. The first trailer for star trek beyond was horrible (in my opinion) and killed my interest in seeing it. It was only after the amazing reviews that I decided to see it. (Its awesome)
it doesn't need to spoil the plot, but it can hint at it better.
You did but then this trailer revived me, god bless
