If they were both drunk,then he wasn't the only one at fault. If he was the only one drunk,then she was at fault big-time.

Except the man freely admitted it was his mistake. He even uses the words "My mistake". Drinking doesn't force people to cheat, nor is it an acceptable excuse for cheating.
