Look, I'm not gonna say that you can't live a vegan lifestyle if you want to, but telling me I can't eat meat because you don't like it is wrong, and those of you who feel that way should be ashamed of yourselves. As Denis Leary said, "Not eating meat is a choice, eating meat is an instinct."
I'm pretty sure humans have been slaughtering animals every since they instinctively needed protein. I'm also pretty sure carnivore animals do the same. Humans are omnivores.
I still think there's a big difference between mass production and farm animals. I don't say it's wrong to eat meat, but we could at least spend a little more on it to ensure that we don't support mass productions where the animals suffer their whole life until they're slaughtered :/
And as an answer to the post: true, but most of the meat is produced there. And it's the cheapest, so most people buy it.
That is true, but you have to look for the organic and free-range label when you buy your meat, and it costs a bit extra. Otherwise it's probably meat that comes from a slaughterhouse.
On a side note, I really loved the Magic Tree House books. It makes me kind of nostalgic and sad to think about them though because I remember really loving them, but often times when I go back and read books from my childhood I realize that they aren't actually all that good. So I just end up disappointed. Has anyone read the Sammy Keyes books though? Because I still love those! :D
