I don't really understand genderfluid or agender or non-binary or whatever. Yes, gender is a social construct, not linked to biological sex, I get it, but if you like wearing men's clothes sometimes, and women's clothes other times, and you feel like you flick backwards and forwards between the two... why do you NEED a specific term for that? Why can't we just make it a whole lot simpler, and say "I'm male/female." If someone then says "Oh then why are you wearing (opposite gender)'s clothes?" you can then say "Because it's just what I feel like doing."

I feel like all these alternative gender terms have pretty negative connotations now because of "acceptance" and "representation" as pushed by people who act this way. In my opinion, gender should become synonymous with sex, in that you're either male or female and that's it.

"But what about intersex people and hermaphrodites??"
Simple. Pick whichever you identify with. We either have XX or XY chromosomes, so technically...

...you're either one or the other. Most likely you identify with whatever chromosomes you actually do have.

Ehhh, I don't normally comment on this kind of thing, but I wanted to share my thoughts.
Now, of you are having both male and female hormones coming in and affecting you at different times, your gender orientation might fluctuate. So for some, it isn't "simple".
I understand what you are saying, but for legitimate gender fluid and non-binary people, they suffer from gender dysphoria. It isn't just a clothing preference.

So then why not say "I suffer from gender dysphoria"? It sounds like a legitimate mental illness, something that people are more likely to believe.
