Being stupid is different from being stupid crazy. Being stupid is doing something because of lack of knowledge. Being stupid crazy is doing something reckless like driving race cars, or doing rock climbing high off the ground, or building small one person roller coasters in your back yard. It is not the lack of intelligence it is the lack of self preservation instinct.
