His point is white Jesus is just a ploy by the whites to attract mass population to fallow religion for their own greedy benefits. Because lets face it, if Jesus was recognized as being middle eastern, half the people in the world wouldn't blindly fallow the church and hive them all their money.

I think it's fine that they made him in a way they felt more of a connection to him as long as they remember that people from the middle east are not evil (not most pf them at the very least)

White Jesus was made white to be relatable. Just like in the asian countries they make him relatable. Just like on countries like nigeria they make him relatable. But no doubt white jesus was implemented more than any other version. Gg tho.

As a Catholic, I've always been so confused why all the pictures/sculptures of Jesus were him with pale skin and blonde hair if he was in fact Middle Eastern. It's just pure racism tbh

Images Jesus (and Buddha) tend to show ethnic characteristics of the culture in which it was created. To my knowledge their is no Catholic standard for the image of Jesus.
