No one has overdosed, several have died from clouded decision making. I hate this argument because it's basically "So no one died for INTERNAL issues, but that car crash isn't the drugs fault. Not at all. Nu uh."
People die in car crashes everyday with no drugs or alcohol involved whatsoever. Responsibility is key when it comes to taking any substance. Get off your high horse and let people maks their own decisions. If they get themselves or others hurt/killed then they will suffer the consequences. But if they're responsible and do things intelligently then let them be.

That was almost me today T-T it was raining super hard and I was going 5 under the limit and 5 deer run in front of me. Luckily, it was near my apt where I know deer like to hang out so I was prepared. But man. It was a close call
Yes, people die everyday. So why increase the body count? Your argument is: "People die everyday. Therefore taking drugs and having MORE people die is 100% ok"
On the other hand, THC overdose is possible if you have the pure stuff or if you eat too much of it. Smoking it is hardly lethal itself, it's the consumption that MAY kill you
Also, somebody that uses drugs is not necessarily an addict. It's called recreational drug use. Pretty much the same thing as having a few drinks of alcohol every now and then. Not everybody who drinks is an alcoholic.
It's the people that are blatantly ignoring the fact that marijuana can be ingested and it's apparently not the easiest thing to regulate how much marijuana you're cooking into the foods
Web MD:
"Smoking pot can increase your heart rate by as much as two times for up to 3 hours. That’s why some people have a heart attack right after they use marijuana. It can increase bleeding, lower blood pressure, and affect your blood sugar, too.
We don’t yet know if marijuana is linked to higher odds of getting lung cancer. But the process does irritate your lungs -- which is why regular pot smokers are more likely to have an ongoing cough and to have lung-related health problems like chest colds and lung infections.
Other physical effects of marijuana include:
Dizziness
Shallow breathing
Red eyes and dilated pupils
Increased appetite
Slowed reaction time (If you drive after using marijuana, your risk of being in a car accident more than doubles.)"
Feel free to smoke, but can we stop saying it comes without risks
