In reference to this year's election...

The problem is that nearly everyone would have to be on board with voting for the third-party candidate. That's the problem with first-past-the-post voting. We should change to alternative voting, or a single-transferable vote system.

Sadly in the system America has voting for a third party candidate is just as good as throwing your vote away because the majority of the country will always go for the main ones. That's why it's better to choose the lesser of two evils instead of choosing someone who may be good

Googled "first past the post" - that is ridiculous! What the hell was that rule for when they made it?
