I understand that with aphasia they can connect meaning to words ... but i think I would be frustraded if I am not sating what I want...? I think it is hard for us to imagine how a brain post stroke works :(

Even though he has Aphasia the words he uses and the way he speaks make it sound beautiful. He almost sounds like a spiritual speaker or a poet.

Usually aphasia affects both written and oral language pathways. Though, I had a case where the patient was speaking nonsense, but his written language was fairly coherent except he almost never wrote words with less than 4 or 5 letters. Disorders like aphasia that result from damage to the brain affect everyone differently based on the damage and other factors.
