I think he just meant that the US only had a very minor role in WW2

The USA's contribution to the war effort was highly significant and inarguably ranks among the top 4 efforts most influential to the outcome of the war in Europe, and higher in the Pacific.

Im not arguing the US won the war in the Pacific. I'm just saying I believe the Russians are hugely under-credited for their part in the war in Europe. If Germany hadn't have invaded Russia I think Britain would have been fucked :^)

If we didnt invade at Normandy europe would have never broke free of the nazis our effort was vital to the outcome of the war
