Marilyn Manson is actually incredible, especially in early interviews. Nowadays, it feels like he does not give a shit anymore, but the early century MM was incredible.

No, he stayed out of the public spotlight because he knew he wasn't as edgy as his lyrics portrayed and didn't want to deal with people accusing him of influencing the gunners.
