I more scared of the old it

They need to stop remaking beloved movies and start remaking movies that had a lot of potential but were executed in a very poor way. Or come up with original ideas or get inspiration from books/stories that haven't been brought to the big screen yet.

I looked at the imdb cast(mainly kids and three adults so far) and looks like the movie is only going to centre around the kids. It's not going to have flashbacks or why the grown ups are going back.

The whole point of the clown was to entice kids in and then get them. It was supposed to look friendly and fun right up until it ate you. Let's be honest, the clown was much more scary when you knew it was bad but it looked harmless and you were just waiting for it to change. Having it be "scary" looking right off the bat just doesn't make the same impression.
