Beautiful portraits on maps

I know but unless it's your career to look at maps no one really does it anymore.

Many people still do. With your logic we should get rid if books too cause everybody has a smartphone or an E Reader.

Books are a comepletely different matter. Borrowing free books at a library is honestly a lot more convinient than buying them online constantly. I don't think books could ever be replaced. That would be pretty horrible, and I love to read. I'm just saying physical paper maps are now no longer necessary to the AVERAGE person. When was the last time you met a person who did that? Your grandparent maybe?

I do that. Maps are awesome and interesting.

Well, I guess there are some people that do. But hey, if they're making art that beautiful they should be able to sacrifice at least a few maps right?

I guess but I don't like it. As I said, waste of some good maps. The maps tell a better story by themselves than they do it some faces sprawled across them.
