How have you lived your entire life not knowing how to appreciate an over used but well loved joke?

Because I lived most of that life, my best years... my young years IN one of those uniforms.

Over used? Yes. Well loved? Not as much as you think.

well...it is well loved by us who enjoy memes. 1. Might be annoying if someone says it in real life, Which is not the case. 2, the silliness of the joke is the point. 3. the scene is Chandler talking to an extra dressed as a military in a movie set by where they live. so not even the character is being a douchebag to a supposed military. 4. thank you for service.
