You know those white markings on the street, that sometimes are reeded (hope that's the right word), so that your car starts vibrating when you cross them accidentally? Yeah, my dad used to tell us that it's for blind drivers, so that they would stay in their lanes. Took me some years.
I actually asked about this topic back in driving school. I thought you had to be able to hear the ambulances to make space, but apparently deaf people are allowed to drive nevertheless. But I think apart from ambulances, hearing is not that important for drivers in traffic.
But what about honking from other cars or other things besides ambulance(tornado sirens)

As a deaf individual, I can feel vibration of some vehicles honking. It isn't guaranteed thing but we still are able to.
Also, sometimes, cars' headlights would dim and then normalize (almost as if you flash them but it's subtle) when people honk.
@sassypotter is right though. We pay more attention to rear view (and side) mirror(s) for people, including ambulance and squad cars, to flash, blink to change lanes, and such.
