I doubt there was a giant who weilded this sword without some kind of record of him. Generally swords of this size are for more ceremonial purposes. The same can be said of medieval England some if the ceremonial swords in their museums are the same size.
A sword like this would probably snap or bend, or it would make a sound like a laminated paper sheet whenever you swung it.

Nah japan swords are made of high carbon steel, some traditional swords can bend like 90 degrees without snapping and return to their original shape afterwords. You're probably right that it's wobbly as shit and sounds like a laminated paper sheet though
