Uhm well some of is might be really badass. But we're on fs so not likely. Anyway, the whole Vietnam-America thing was more sad than bad-ass. Still, I commend these soldiers on their bravery.
My grandmother was, and for her it was terrifying. Her paintings tell me that much.

I'm pretty bad ass myself. I live in environment that past generations had no regard for, I dealt with crippling student loan payments, I work in an economic system that probably won't allow me to retire.
Oh and I never made a necklace out of human ears.
Really? He could have been a coward soldier back then, children killer, innocent civilians bomber.

^ This. Americans act like they were totally justified in Vietnam and they salute their race war hero soldiers who fought off those commie bastards and returned home. They seem to conveniently forget things like the My Lai massacre.
Total respect to soldiers for fighting in what they believed was a justified conflict, but let's be real here: Vietnam was a sham.
I agree that Vietnam was a sham, but let's be real here, most of the soldiers didn't want to go over there either, and when they got back, bleeding heart liberals were waiting for them. They were spat on, called ungodly things, all for fighting a war they didn't want to fight. Bash on the government all you want, but don't bash the troops.
How about you just fuck off, a lot of young men died fighting a war they wanted no part in. If you are looking for someone to blame, pick the US brass or the communist, but leave the soldiers out of it. A lot of people have died so you come to this website and exercise you first amendment rights, even if you a disrespectful, irreverent little shit.

I call that faggotism.
