Technically not, @felixo77, if you couldn't just go look on my profile and check, you can see that most states did not have their majorities vote for either candidate.
Then by that logic the majority didn't vote for Hillary either, as the majority of the nation didn't vote. However fine, I'll rephrase my statement. The majority of voters in the majority of states voted for Trump.
@banana "the college voted for him" do you truly understand how it works? The college is bound by the electorate in most states. @ajhedges "general dumbasses" is not a group recognized by the census bureau.
The electoral college is determined by the counties and then the points from the electoral college are split after the whole state has tallied up. If you look at the map with the Counties filled in and not just the state then you would notice that trump won by a landslide.
The majority, as in the popular vote, voted for Hillary. I'm just saying.
