Racism is still very much alive right now.....

Black president, black shows, black radio, black celebs earning almost double as white celebs, the highest valued player in the premier league is black. Racism is not "very much alive" it is still relevant and around. But it is wrong and you get fucked over for it and justly so. By saying that it is "very much alive" nowadays discredits the thousands of achievements of great black men and woman. However saying it is relevant and around is more accurate. I was arguing that the racism then is much fuckin worse to now. Remember when black men got hanged for wanting to have a relationship with a white woman?

Yes, but the picture is 1973. At that time things were starting to getting better. Saying that racism alive doesn't discredit anything.

How did racism come into this? This was about hun control and school shootings.

The fact that people who were racially oppressed had less ooportunities then is why we're mentioning it.

Doesn't that still happen today?
