You can walk. You can roll. You can swim. You can paddle.

What food would you eat? What water would you drink? Where would you sleep? Of course you can bring provisions, but they only last so long.

You can eat what you can catch, what you can find. You can sleep under the stars, in a tent. We used to live this way.

But the large majority of people don't live like that today. We aren't built to survie that way anymore. Besides, this is about travel, not camping.

You would eat regardless of whether you choose to travel or not. So eating cost would be separate from traveling cost.

Traveling is free. Meeting people is free. Performing on the street is free. Luxuries that people have told you you need are what's expensive

i've been wanting to walk the Appalachian trail starting from FL. but it will take a few months (4-7 Months) and i have people that rely on my to provide a paycheck. if i go, they couldn't survive. then there are also the risks of bears and criminals. still, one day i hope to do it in one run. it would be something to be proud of.

Be the sort of traveler that the likes of Lonely Planet come to you to make episodes... if they can find you.
