I think it's because the Che fought for liberty but when Castro took power he was really crooked, and people quickly made the idea that the Che was the saviour and that Castro was a crooked politician with no-relation at all with Che

Guys, what I am going to say has nothing to do with this post, but I just discovered that all the books written by JK Rowling are connected, if you take the first HP book and check the list of books Harry has to buy for the first year you can see that one of them is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. OMFG I am so dead
