My math says $39.45/hr. 8@ straight time + 8@ overtime (58.175).

The absurdity of how much this would mean he’s getting paid made me look up NYPD pay scale, and my god if they work there for 5.5 yrs they’ll make ~85,292$ a year. (So 40 bucks an hour) and I now know that my want to be a teacher is a seriously terrible decision
