Yep, although I also think Trevor just isn't funny. There was an episode maybe a month ago where he was sick so Jordan Klepper hosted the show, and it was astounding how much more enjoyable it was.

I think so ? Maybe not like extra as in background ... I think he had segments sometimes ? Maybe just cast like how you have all those different people for SNL but they arent really the main people ?
Yeah, I checked his Wikipedia page and apparently he was on the Daily Show several times since December 2014, I guess I just don't remember him. Make sense considering how unfunny he is.
