Why wouldn't you do it that way?

I used to do this when I was little and every time the milk splashed over the sides.

Honestly I pour a glass of milk, fill the bowl with cereal then carry it to where I am eating. That way never gets soggy, can pour what I want when I want and if I have left over milk, drink it, it's just part of a balanced breakfast.

I do it that way because it easier to heat the milk in the bowl then pour the cereal (Yeah I like hot milk peasants)

That bowl is gorgeous

I just pour whatever I grab first.
