I love rain, but I fear catching a cold, so I open an umbrella. I love the sun, but I fear being burned, and so I cover myself in the shade. I love the wind, but fear for the chaos they bring, so I close the windows. I'll love you, but I'll do what I must to protect myself.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ all the actions before were done to protect oneself selfishly. Even walking away from a person is selfish, despite thinking that itll be better in the end

You are correct, but living for yourself will never change the outcome of the future, just an immediate response to your self loathing! So hope for a better now than the future is your answer?

Nah, I personally jump into things and I'm overly considerate at my own expense. Even though, I can understand and appreciate the quote enough to strech out its meaning

Appreciated, nothing is ever wrong with people being passionate about what anybody believes, I just hope we all can laugh sometimes.

Seems like the umbrella may be the answer! Shade, rain, and if a good umbrella block wind!

1. William Shakespeare never said that, it was Bob Marley 2. They spelt his name wrong it's Shakespeare not Shakespear.

To be fair, that's just how we choose to spell it. The bard himself signed his works with a ton of different spellings.

Haha I thought Bob Marley said this? A suspicious lack of archaic expressions makes it hard for me to believe it's Shakespeare.

Were umbrellas common in renaissance England?
