But the black death wasn't airborne, they thought it was but turns out it was transmitted through fleas I think.

I thought they wore those head dresses to keep the evil spirits out, cause they thought it was witchcraft causing it all.That's why when you sneeze you say "Bless you" because that sneeze could have been an opening for spirits to get in
