lost all respect for will smith after his oscar bs last time. if he is going to call everyone racist because he didn't get one, he doesn't deserve one. we cant give minorities special treatment. if you didn't do good, then you didn't do good. they are not special little children, we don't need to baby them. they should be held at the same standard as everyone else. they are not lesser people. sadly sub-par actors that are minorities will get rewards because we now need a quota or we get more whining. it is sad that we are turning minorities into the special olympics at everything they do. i demand equality for all races and genders, stop demanding special treatment.
admittedly so, but it only took off when he joined her like it was his idea. it snowballed from there. though, yes i do realize it started when she, herself, made a big deal about it. when he joined in, like he did. that is when i lost the respect i had. he should have stood up and stopped it right there. no, it turned into another "everything is racist" storyline. i am tired of the division. i am sensitive about that. i am tired of people trying to pull us apart when we need to be together. people really need to watch pokemon the first move. maybe a kids show can teach them that our birth doesn't define us, it is what we do with it that counts.
That is not at all what the argument was??? Yeah, mostly at first, but then they learned how dumb that idea was, because not everything /is/ racist, the focus was made on how there is lack of POC representation in Hollywood.
So okay, you were half-right. But also you were half wrong.
She was upset at the lack of people of colour that had been nominated for Oscars. She felt her husband deserved a nomination, he didn't get one, and she made a fuss
